Are you passionate about helping people transform their lives by supporting communities into employment and training?
We are looking for an exceptional Employment and Training Manager to join our Community Investment team on a permanent basis to help us enhance and improve the lives of people within the local community through the promotion and implementation of a regional Employment and Training(E&T) programme which maximises the numbers of residents supported into work and training.
As a key member of our Employment and Training team you will support the Head of Service in developing the programme, and promoting Clarion Housing Group's E&T activities through strategic engagement with key stakeholders, and by speaking at awards and other such publicity events.
We will look to you to provide effective and visible management to the regional E&T team, and to bid for external funding and contracts to increase the programme's reach and impact.
You will also be responsible for compiling and evaluating statistical data on apprenticeship performance and you'll be required to make recommendations and take the necessary actions to achieve our objectives.
You'll excel in your written and verbal communication skills, and will use your organisational and project management skills to ensure high quality programmes are in place.
You will already have a trade or trade related qualification to Level 4 5 and will have gained extensive experience and expertise in the E&T sector from working in a similar role where you delivered high quality operational services on a large geographic basis.
You'll have a natural ability to lead and motivate others as well as an ability to build strong networks and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
A passion and drive to successfully deliver strategy and projects within budget will be critical for your success in this role
Your duties will include:
* Take responsibility for all aspects of partnership management in the region including tendering and selection, contract management and conflict/non-compliance resolution
* Conduct effective due diligence and risk analysis to ensure Clarion's resources and reputation are protected
* Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are complied with in all areas of E&T activity
