An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Senior Estates and Facilities Officer for an immediate start.
Job Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide an integral role within the Estates and Facilities department. Working alongside the Head of Administration, the successful candidate will:
supervise the maintenance of estate and facilities at AKIS, including the school buildings and housing complexes to ensure that they are safeguarded and well maintained in compliance with the facilities management standards and policies.
oversee provision of any required transportation arrangements for AKIS students and staff.
prepare regular inspection plans and guide team members on inspection objectives and protocols in order to maintain an oversight of the condition of all facilities at AKIS.
oversee physical checks of facilities to review the state of the AKIS assets and to ensure that these are maintained in accordance with AKIS standards and practices.
collaborate with contractors for resolution of any critical issues; take proper actions in the event of of any reported deviations from the contractual terms in order to ensure optimal utilisation of the appointed contractors.
provide support as required to the Head of Administration.
Requirements:
Certification in facilities management BIFM Level 4 or above (preferred).
Good working knowledge of processes / procedures in facilities / planning applications.
7+ years of experience working as a coordinator in a facilities management environment; supervisory experience preferred.
School experience desirable.
