We have a vacancy for an experienced and self-motivated technical leader.
We will consider candidates from a variety of application support or development backgrounds. Are you a technical expert who can mentor, team lead and inspire others?
If so, then we’d like to hear from you.
You’ll be a competent and experienced senior support specialist able to take the lead for our Linux and related technical platform. We’d especially like to hear from candidates who are experienced in proactive maintenance and system optimization.
We use a wide range of technologies such as Linux, php, MySQL, Apache, SCCM, SharePoint, BizTalk and Office365 as well as in house specialist education software such as SITS and Moodle. To be successful, you will have strong Linux and Unix technical expertise and an appreciation of some of our other technologies.
The role demands someone who is naturally interested and in-touch with the latest technologies. As this is a friendly and collaborative team with a positive culture you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and have a good standard of written and verbal communication commensurate to this lead role. You will be confident in communicating at all levels and will be passionate about knowledge sharing to enhance the overall quality of the team.
