The Opportunity
To work alongside the Head of People, you will be responsible for supporting the business in recruiting high calibre talent to join our fast growing team.
You will also assist with day to day HR duties, including helping to address HR related queries and ensuring the smooth running of our HR systems and processes.
Recruitment
Candidate sourcing - employing targeted methods of candidate attraction
Writing job ads and posting roles on job boards, social media and the company website
CV reviewing and telephone screening
Arranging interviews and guiding candidates through the recruitment process
Liaising closely with hiring managers to understand team requirements, building relationships and managing expectations
HR
Maintenance of HR systems and data, including employee life-cycle administration, company benefits usage, holidays and sickness, birthdays, work anniversaries, etc.
Responsible for all new starter processes, including drafting offer letters and contracts, making up new starter packs, entering details into the HR system (Octopus) and reference checking
Co-ordinating diaries for new starter inductions and training, and onboarding follow ups
First point of contact for queries relating to company benefits package (Flexi-bens)
Assisting with wider company L&D activity; booking courses, diary management, updating training records and capturing course feedback.
You
You'll be a positive person who is articulate, enthusiastic, highly motivated, hard working and VERY organised!
You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and a track record of success in managing all elements of the recruitment process spanning; sourcing, candidate management, telephone screening and compliance.
You must be diplomatic and discrete, and an excellent team player with a proven ability to develop strong working relationships.
Previous exposure to HR processes would be beneficial but not essential, as long as you are keen to develop your skills in this area.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word and Excel, is a must too.
