I am selling this just recently finished Land Rover Discovery-'Whitbread 4X4 semi-pro competition Buggy Conversion', Discovery 'intercooled' 300tdi Auto with Nissan Patrol Y61 Axles & integral Hydraulic front Winch...

Whitbread manufactured specialist Roll Cage (respected professional, strong, reliable brand) with integral additional Tree Sliders (also act as really usefull steps), Whitbread Bulkhead & Side Panels, Whitbread Seats, with 4-point Harnesses...
All on shortened/modified Land Rover Discovery Chassis.

Specific features:

- Whitbread Roll Cage, Tree Sliders, Bulkhead, Side Panels & Seats with 4-point harnesses...All on modified Land Rover Discovery Chassis.

- Land Rover Discovery 300tdi Engine...still 'intercooled'...

- High level Rear mounted Air Filter & Air Intake (see pics).

- High level Exhaust (see pics).

- Rear mounted higher level oversize/bigger main Radiator with x2 Fans (see pics, hard to miss).

- Transmission Oil Cooler/Radiator.

To be quite frank, this Whitbread - Land Rover Discovery/Nissan Patrol Buggy is particularly well sorted; put together with a great deal of thought, consideration & expertise.
Particularly in regard to the precise positioning of components, all kept suitably accessibly compact yet tidily out of way; will practical Performance, Versatility & Durability very much of emphasis throughout & subsequently built in...

Engine remounted/repositioned backward upon chassis as far as practically suitable in relation to height & gearbox/running gear position/performance... approx 12" back from original position...

Y61 Nissan Patrol Axles & LR Discovery Props positioned & 'angled' with care & attention to maximise available flexibility of performance...
Y61 Diff Flanges re-drilled to suit Discovery Props.

Transmission & Engine Oil Coolers/Radiators positioned for both performance & durability, out of the way & away from heat sources...

Time Care & attention taken to position Rear Winch Tray, particularly in regard to rope eyelet slot in order to maximise flexibility/versatility of performance/use.

Y61 Axles Best Choice... for Extra Strength & Durability.
With additional benefit of a Wider Track which provides greater stability; while still repairable with mass market parts... however unlikely necessary.

Please Again do Note: This Performance 4x4 Buggy is effectively Fresh Out the Box so to speak...

I was particularly fortunate... you would be very unlikely to be able to build for less... particularly in such a manner.

Also Note: I may possibly consider a part exchange with either a Motorhome/up & running Stealth Van... Or a Land Rover...Or even maybe something particularly interesting?..

Also, if interested... the combined suspension set up & overall build of this specialist Performance Off-Road 4x4 Buggy... could also I imagine make it surprisingly straight forward to make this Buggy Road legal, most likely without the need of a special vehicles test... should you wish to so...

Most road legal examples will not be as capable as this Off-Road...
