The interior is nicely finished, attractive and spacious; Ford has based the car’s system and controls on a mobile phone, and the centre console is great to use. The seats are supportive and comfortable and windscreen, frontal visibility is excellent.

The 1.6 TDCi engine provides a nippy ride along with excellent miles per gallon (67 mpg). The steering is sharp and accurate, the five-speed gearbox is slick and the handling is beautifully balanced. Road tax on this model is an impressive £20 for the year. Overall, well maintained low owner car that is practical and has only covered most miles on motorway use.
