Warehouse & Food Production Operatives required for a company based at East Midlands Airport.

The Warehouse & Food Production Operative must be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines whilst retaining a keen eye for detail and fulfilling targets and orders. The Warehouse & Food Production Operatives will be expected to work both individually and within a team to ensure all expectations are met.

The role of a Warehouse Operative:

* Picking items to order

* Packing items to order

* Quality checking

* Use of hand scanners

* Working to strict targets and deadlines

* Adhering to security procedures and policies at all times

* Manual Handling

* Other general warehouse duties

The role of Food Production Operative:

* Preparation of fresh Meat, Vegetables, Fruit and Baked Goods

* Weighing, counting and placing of ingredients

* Packing, boxing, labelling and despatching finished products

* Working in chilled areas

* Ensuring all food production areas and equipment are kept clean and tidy at all times

* Updating and maintaining appropriate records

* Working to strict targets and deadlines

* Adhering to security procedures and policies at all times

* Manual Handling

The successful Warehouse & Food Production Operative will be:

* Hard-working and eager to learn

* Willing to work in environments of different temperatures

* Able to communicate verbally and in writing whilst in a fast paced environment

* Willing to travel to East Midlands Airport

* Willing to work both Day and Night Shifts

WEEKLY ROTATING SHIFTS INCLUDING NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.

MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO THE AIRPORT DURING UNSOCIAL HOURS!

(GBP)7.50 per hour.

MUST be able to provide a 5 year work / study history in the UK, due to Aviation Security and you will be required to carry out a Criminal Record Check
