**Consummate Care (UK) Ltd is looking to recruit Team Leaders to join our busy and friendly team.**

**To become a part of our team you need:**

* At least 6 months experience in similar role within the last 2 years.
* Two references, one of which to be either your current or most recent employer.
* An enhanced DBS.
* It is desirable for you to have a car, as you might be asked to work out of your community
* NVQ in Health and Social Care level 2 or 3

**The main tasks you will be asked to undertake are:**

**** **TEAM LEADING AND SUPERVISING**

* Carry out regular Competency Checks on the staff in your team every month.
* Complete Fire and Health and Safety Assessments in each of the Service Users home and update every 6 months
* Audit and check medication sheets and Log sheets on a monthly basis
* To act as a mentor for all new staff and carry out shadowing and basic training within the community.
* To monitor existing staff and report any shortfalls in standards of care to the office.
* To assist in the initial recruitment and selection process and be involved in recruitment drives and seminars as required
* To ensure all Health and Safety equipment is in place and that all staff have and wear appropriate PPE
* Deal professionally with all visitors and family members and external professionals
* Manage any incidents and concerns as required and report any concerns appropriately to the office
* Write reports, daily logs and other paperwork as required for the safety of the staff and service users
* Work alongside the Care Coordinators so to provide senior cover to the service as a whole as required including working in the office and covering On Call
* Deal with complaints and concerns from service users, families and outside agencies.
* Represent the company, as required at reviews and meetings concerning service users or the service as a whole.
* Monitor Primary Workers and ensure 1:1 support is carried out.
* Understand Webroster and assist in the planning and implementation of ROTA as required
* Undertake any other duties as deemed appropriate to your role as directed by the Registered Manager or Director of Consummate Care (UK) Limited

**DELIVERY OF PERSONAL CARE Required as needed to ensure the safe running of the service:**

* Washing/bathing/showering a persons body and hair
* Mouth care such as the cleaning of dentures and teeth
* Dressing
* Toileting which may include changing continence pads and dealing with catheter and stoma bags
* Helping them to eat and drink
* Helping them with their personal appearance
* Prompting, giving or administering their medication
* Meal preparation and serving meals and drinks
* Emptying commodes and urine bottles
* Monitoring their physical health and reporting any concerns
* Assessing and monitoring behaviour, mental capacity and support needs in conjunction with outcome based care plans.
* Cope with challenging behaviour and the effects of the individuals mental capacity
* Write up daily records and charts as required
* Assist the service user to live independently at home
* Carry out domestic duties as required
* Assist Service Users in Social Inclusion
* Support Service Users to access Housing Related Support
