JOB TITLE: Team Leader (Manufacturing) - Temp to Perm

LOCATION: Trowbridge, Wiltshire

SALARY: Negotiable, depending on experience

Are you looking to progress your career in a progressive manufacturing environment? We are currently looking for a Team Leader with manufacturing experience, to manage a small team and hit the ground running. This position will become permanent position for the right candidate.

As the Team Leader, you will need to demonstrate previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing and/or production environment and upon joining the organisation you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of your team, to ensure production targets are met and KPIs and met and exceeded.

As the Team Leader, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your will be organising the daily workflow of orders received from the sales office to ensure all production orders are completed to deadlines.

Duties are as follows:
Fulfilling objectives and directions set by the Operations Manager;
People management, mentoring and development.
Supporting and managing productivity, identify and training needs.
To ensure that all production orders are processed to a consistent high quality standard, in line with companys procedure
Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set quality and productivity targets are met;
Adhere to health and safety, quality and production standards.

The successful candidate will have worked in a production and/or manufacturing environment, highly organised and with some supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills are a must as you will need to motivate and lead your team, good IT skills to include the Microsoft Office suite. Previous knowledge of production management IT systems is advantageous.

Please note that manual handling and heavy lifting is at times required within this role. This initially will be a temporary assignment however for the right candidate it can lead to a more permanent basis.
