Role: Mechanical Technician

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £31,000 (inclusive of shift allowance)

Hours: Days, afters and nights

Nicholas Associates Engineering & Manufacturing is once again working with a long standing client of ours whom are now looking to appoint a Mechanical Technician. My client is a leading manufacturing business based in Rotherham.

The key duties of this role will be:

* Conduct testing of inspection equipment to achieve peak performance
* Adjust any inspection equipment
* Planned maintenance when required
* Heighten line performance through mechanical adjustment and set up
* Work to and Achieve goals and objectives within department
* Any other reasonable duties as requested within skill set
* Set any production machinery accordingly.

Desired skills and qualifications:

* City & Guilds in a mechanical qualification (or equivalent)
* IOSH or equivalent H&S training
* Educated to GCSE level with passes in Maths, English and a science subject.
* Previous hands on mechanical/machine setting experience.
