Harvey Nash are working with a Global organisation to recruit a Development Team Lead to manage a new team of Java developers.

This role will suit someone who has an established career in Java development and who is currently or aspires to line manage a small team of developers (c6 people).

You will be responsible for setting their objectives, setting their workload and ensuring performance of the team as well as supporting their continued career development within the organisation. On top of the line management, you will still be expected to hands on code, working on the businesses core product using the latest technology and development methodologies.

You, as the ideal candidate will be experienced in:

* Java

* HTML

* JavaScript

* Ideally have a level of cloud experience (AWS or Azure)

* Leading small teams of developers, acting as a mentor and motivator.

The company are going through significant investment in their Nottingham offices and therefore are looking to go through a period of rapid growth to boost the capability in their new "Tech Hub".
