Field Support Engineer Electrical South SE/TW12

Salary £30k - £35k + Car

Job Term: Permanent / Full Time

Job Outline:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Support Engineer for a design and manufacturer of High & Low voltage products which are supplied into the Power and Rail industry.

You will be expected to be the front line of support for my clients customers.
You will offer Training & Support, start-up and commissioning of equipment, monitoring performance and diagnosing system problems both remotely and on-site, on the companys range of High and Low Voltage automated power systems.

It is expected that you will have previous experience working in a Field Support/Service role within the Power and/or Rail industry with experience working on High and Low Voltage products.

The ideal candidate will have experience with LV Switchgear, have experience working on power systems below 1000V, be 17th edition certified and be PTS Certified, however this is not essential.

The role involves extensive travel and some overnight stays, so flexibly is essential.

Qualifications:

You will be qualified to HNC/HND level or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Experience:

You will have experience working in a Field Support/Service role.
You have experience training, servicing and commissioning
You will ideally be 17th edition qualified
You will ideally have the ability to program devices via supplied instructions , cables and software
You will have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable in a face to face environment

Additional Information:

Candidate MUST have a Full UK driving licence
Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Candidates MUST be based in or around Guildford, Basingstoke, Newport, Reading or Maidenhead.
