Scheduler/Planning Engineer - Gloucester

NRL are recruiting on behalf of major EPC contractor for an immediate start on the early stages of an exciting new build nuclear project worth over £10billion. Our client is looking for a Scheduling/Planning Engineer to work in a diverse environment down at Gloucester Business Park. The role in question would be on a contract basis until July 2020.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

- Establish Control level schedule and control/tracking/updating the schedule.
- Supporting to establish Control Level Schedule (Level 3 schedule) by using Primavera P6
- Supporting to manage execution of schedule control in accordance with requirements.
- Support update for the schedule related reports such as:

- Monthly Progress Report

- Schedule adjustment for Variation order etc.

- Schedule Control of Execution process
- Communicate and follow client instruction to the preparation of the above documents.
- Report to the Project Control Manager if any incomplete or inconsistent matters against the schedule related procedures during execution process.
- Review meeting and maintain records of the review results.
- Control of schedule changes to be incorporated into the report.
- Support Deputy Project Control Manager.

What you will need:

- Have experience within a schedule control/planning role for at least 10 years.
- Have a good understanding of Primavera P6 operation.
- Have well knowledge of EPC for power plant and especially for nuclear power plant, if possible.
