An exciting opportunity has arisen in a private hospital in Barnet for an experienced Ophthalmology Nurse to join their team.

The Ophthalmology Unit provides a range of pre, intra and post-operative surgical services and you will contribute and coordinate a high quality, effective and efficient service, ensuring the best possible patient experience.

Applicants for this Ophthalmic Nurse position should meet the following criteria:

NMC registered as an Adult Nurse/RGN
Experience within an Ophthalmology setting, ideally with experience in a theatre or multi skilled Ophthalmic role
Ideally have completed a recognised mentorship or clinical supervision qualification along with ALERT/BLS/ILS & ALS training
Sound clinical skills including basic phlebotomy and ECG monitoring experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

This is a full-time position and you will work predominantly on days, although you should be flexible to meet the needs of the department.

A competitive annual salary of £27,000 is offered in return.
