Job Title: Software Support Engineer

Location: Middlesex

Salary: £32,000 - £37,500 per annum + excellent benefits scheme

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Software Support Engineer position to join an established team within a leading and reputable organisation. The role will be providing support on reported system and software issues with Partner software.

The Role

* Support of issues escalated up from the sales operation team with software
* Continual checking and updating of specifications
* Capturing and analysing network trace data
* Compilation and adjustment of existing testbed C# and/or .NET software samples
* Diagnosing problems, where possible offering and guidance to resolution
* Assist in planning, upgrading and maintaining test networks and systems to support our diverse requirements for business

Essential Skills

* Proven background in Solutions demonstration, configuration & troubleshooting
* Previous experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio
* Experience of software test, debug and evaluation
* Experience of programming in C#
* Working knowledge of Wireshark network trace
* Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and SSL/TSL
* Excellent communication skills
