Media Studies Teacher - Job Description:

You will be required to hit the ground running teaching Media Studies to GCSE and A-Level. You will be joining a dedicated, Media Studies department which consists of one other Media Studies teacher. Due to student demand the school are having to expand the department, This challenging mixed secondary school based in Stoke-on-Trent will offer you outstanding career progression opportunities. This is initially a full-time, long-term contract for a term with the view of becoming a permanent member of staff in January 2018. The reason the school hire staff this way is to ensure not only you are right for the school but also the school is right for you. This particular school does not have a high turnover of staff, this means that this opportunity is a rare and exciting one!

Media Studies Teacher - Personal Specification:

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Media Studies teacher who holds both a relevant degree and UK Qualified Teaching Status. The opportunity is open to NQT's, however, if you have experience teaching Media in the UK consecutively for 2 years or more your application will be favourable. You must be an enthusiastic Media Studies teacher with a genuine passion for pupil attainment and development. Although the staff at this school operate a strict behaviour policy they are all extremely approachable and have admirable yet professional relationships with all of their students.
