We are recruiting on behalf of an independent provider of mental healthcare and were looking for a Mental Health Nurse to join a hospital based near Weston-super-Mare on a Preceptorship. The site provides services for women who have a range of mental health conditions and personality disorders and men with acute mental health needs in a secure environment.

In this role, you will engage in a Preceptorship during your first six months with the company giving your career the best possible start.

The programme includes;

- Support from the Preceptorship Development Manager
- Preceptee supernumery 1st week on the ward
- A minimum of 2 shifts per week withing with your nominated preceptor
- Pay rise on completion of preceptorship
- Excellent training opportunities
- Monthly CPD Days off the ward
- Minimum of 1 session of clinical supervision per month
- Preceptee Group Meetings
- Certificate and letter of completion

Once you have completed your first 6 months, an action plan will be created for you for the next 6 months. This will enhance your identified strengths and address any areas of development. This action plan will take you to your first annual appraisal.

The salary for this role is £21,675 with enhancements.
