I am working with a regional, national and international claims and commercial consultancy looking for an experienced Senior Claims Consultant within their Yorkshire/North East business unit. They provide a wide variety of construction commercial and programming services across all sectors of the industry serving contractors, sub-contractors, employers, suppliers, advisors, local & central government departments, financiers and investors alike.

They are looking to appoint an experienced senior construction professional for claims preparation, assistance with dispute resolution and expert witness service roles in Quantum to join their expanding regional business in Yorkshire. The individual will work closely with and provide support to the Regional/Associate Director. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant business and to have involvement into its direction and client base.

You:

The right person will be able to demonstrate a strong construction related experience background in the preparation of contractual claims and other consultancy services under various forms of contract including NEC, FIDIC and JCT and have a BSc in Quantity Surveying and/or MSc in Construction Law

Preferably, but not essential, they will also have assisted in adjudication and expert witness roles ideally within the region and support with business development is likely to be required.

* A strong relevant construction / legal education background,
* A strong sense of responsibility and someone who recognises opportunities when they present themselves,
* Relevant academic and professional qualifications.
* Ability to work with a team as well as on their own
