SRG are currently working with a multinational pharmaceutical organisation in the UK, who are actively seeking an experienced Analytical Scientist to plan and execute their Stability Study programme.
The chosen individual will support the development of new Medical Devices through stability testing of concept prototypes, finished components & final products. This includes the creation of study protocols, selecting the most appropriate methodology and agreeing/scheduling appropriate shelf-life program timelines.
Role / Description
* Planning and execution of laboratory shelf life studies and associated testing in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations and product submissions;
* Creating and maintaining laboratory documentation, with a focus on shelf life protocols and reports
* Constructing, maintaining and operating stability study equipment, for example environmental condition chambers, incubators, fridges; in addition to testing instrumentation.
Requirements
* Degree qualified in a relevant Scientific or Engineering discipline
* Laboratory experience in a Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industrial setting, including knowledge of current analytical methodology.
* Experience of management/co-ordination of product stability programs.
* Working knowledge of cGMP regulations.
