As our Senior Team Manager (Lead Generation) you will be accountable for the competence and KPI performance of their staff to ensure the achievement of the Sales Targets within the Telesales channel.

The Senior Team Manager (Lead Generation) duties and key responsibilities:

-Will directly manage a team of Managers with varying levels of expertise.

-Job holder will manage the quality, and productivity KPI performance of team managers.

-Responsible for recruitment across the dept

- Maintaining a performance management framework for the team

- Ensuring the performance management and development of sales agents through the management team

- Responsible for the day to day ad hoc issues ie systems, telephony etc

- Responsible for the request of system access for new staff

- Responsible for the creation of campaign code and campaign brief for all new campaigns

- Manage action plan and disciplinary meetings and investigations

- Liaise with training for ad hoc training sessions as required including root cause analysis

- Responsible for the operational success of all new initiatives including product launches

To become our Senior Team Manager (Lead Generation), you will have the below skills and experience:

- 3 years senior management experience in a similar or transferable role

- 5 years sales experience with a proven track record of sales quota being consistently met in a phone sales environment

- Take ownership of sales performance on behalf of Head of Area when required

- Deputise for Head of Area

- Technical knowledge and understanding of sales processes

- Experience or knowledge of the financial insurance sector

- Strong communication skills and the desire to build high performing sales teams

- Ability to coach competitive selling skills, together with the right behaviors, in a confident way

- Proven experience of building strong relationships within your team and colleagues

- Ability to adapt your style to get the best performance out of your team members

- Experience using a robust performance management structure with proven results within a sales team

- Driven and proactive approach to building a successful sales team whilst instilling an energetic and tenacious environment

- Excel at facilitating change and driving continuous improvement

- Have strong resilience to ensure standards are high, a positive attitude is maintained and results are delivered

- Organised, forward-thinking and good at making decisions for the good of the business
