Job Title: Fitters Mate

Location: Slough

Duration: 6 - 7 weeks

Our client is a leading supplier of water processing equipment based in Bedford. Due to an influx in workload, they currently require a semi-skilled fitters mate to join their field based team.

Working on site in Slough each morning, you will assist the engineer by loading tool and materials as required. You will support the engineer with basic mechanical work, using a range of hand tools.

Previous experience supporting an engineer or some basic engineering training would be preferable, but is not essential. Applicants must hold a valid CSCS card and be Confined Space Trained.

Whilst the contract is 2 months initially, there's is an expectation that this will be extended subject to workload. There's also the possibility that it may develop in to a permanent position for the right person.
