Our client was founded in 1993 and has built an international reputation for car restoration to world-class standards. 50 to 60 cars from varied marques such as Jaguar, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Bugatti, Lancia and more can be found in the workshops every month for general servicing, upgrades, accident repairs, repaints, full restorations and other services. They also provide Car Concierge Service, allowing owners with little time to call on a variety of coordinated services, ranging from transportation to and from UK and international events to servicing and detailing.
They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor to join their team. This role is offered on a permanent basis offering an attractive pension scheme and 20 days annual leave alongside the statutory 8 bank holidays.
The role will be varied and challenging requiring the successful candidate to provide exceptional customer care, that satisfies their customers expectations in everything they do, and at all stages of the customer journey. As Service Advisor you are the 1st point of contact with their aftersales customers. You are therefore required to perform an ambassadorial role for the business, providing sound guidance to their customers whilst acting in accordance with all operational processes at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To fully and properly utilise their DMS system to maintain our CRM data base, efficiently book and accurately invoice work and maximise business efficiency.
* Maintain and update the CMC WIP document and ensure an arcuate record of estimated and invoiced costs is kept.
* Actively participate in new business canvasing utilising the CRM data base.
* Ensure full compliance with Data Protection.
* Qualify our customers at the point of contact, establishing their requirements and effectively communicating this information to the workshop by producing accurate job cards and complete information.
* Maintain communication with our customers during their vehicles stay with us ensuring that they are updated on all additional costs and changes in status and scheduling in a timely manner.
* To up-sell any additional work found in an effective way maximising margin on all occasions.
* To accurately invoice all work carried out and take payment prior to hand over of any vehicle or parts
* To carry out a thorough and comprehensive vehicle hand over or make suitable arrangements for redelivery of our clients vehicles on completion.
* Ensure that all goods service and vehicles that leave are fully paid and cash cleared before release.
* To participate in sales and marketing activities where required.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* Previous experience within an automotive service position
* Able to offer a high level of customer service
* Able to work as part of a team
* Patient, sympathetic and professional
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Friendly and tactful
* Organised with good timekeeping
* Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and must have their own transport
* Flexible attitude towards working hours
* Must be able to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team and plan work to meet deadlines
WORKING HOURS:
40 hours per week, however start time and finish times are flexible between the following hours:
Monday to Friday 7.30am-5.30pm
A flexible attitude in working hours is essential as overtime will be required and paid at time and a half once 40 hours has been completed Monday-Friday

Price / Salary: £21000 - £27000/annum + Dependant on Experience
