HR Director
We are recruiting for a HR Director on behalf of our client based in London. HR Director you will be responsible for various duties around the office.
Duties and Responsibilities of a HR Director
The post holder will undertake the following duties and responsibilities
* To be responsible for the management and provision of a first-class business focused professional HR service across all customers - internal and external
* To be the employee relations lead across the CCGs and CSU, ensuring the provision of high quality employee relations advice through the development of competent HR professionals and systems to enable a positive employee relations culture to develop
* Ensure CSU and CCG HR procedures and processes support workforce challenges.
* Ensure there is a consistent bank of letters, process flowcharts, scripts and other related documents that support the HR team and managers in effectively managing ER issues across the CSU and CCGs, and that these are applied consistently across all customers.
* As a senior member of HR, the post holder will be required to take the strategic lead on the development of key HR functions, systems and policies enabling the CSU's corporate aims and objectives to be achieved.
* Ensure a high quality BI report template is used consistently for all customers, and in accordance with the agreed timescales and deadlines
* Use information gained from workforce reports across the CCGs and CSU to identify current and future workforce issues and support the Heads of HR to develop a range of initiatives to tackle them.
* Support the Heads of HR in managing any third party contracts including payroll, OH, ACTUS and TRAC
* Manage the budget for third party contracts, legal advice, and external HR investigators and mediators.
* Support the pricing and step cost work for the HR service.
* Support the development of new business and the transition of services to and from the CSU in line with the Lead Provider Framework
* Analyse the customer satisfaction surveys on a quarterly basis and work with the Heads of HR to development improvement plans as required.
* Be an ambassador for the HR team supporting colleagues and championing the service to stakeholders.
* Act as a role model to the HR team proactively demonstrating the CSU's values and behaviours and supporting the vision of 1HR team, actively encouraging joint working and addressing any barriers to high quality team performance.
* Help to support the implementation of the workforce strategy for the CSU to ensure our workforce is fit for the future, and meets the strategic objectives.
* Lead and drive change management initiatives including the CSU's CIPs programmes designed to improve organisational and personal performance, productivity and quality.
* To provide expert, high level advice and support to senior management colleagues in the management of change whilst ensuring that relevant statutory, consultation and CSU HR policies are adhered to.
* Support, develop and design the ongoing professional development programmes of all the HR team by way of a HR development programme.
* Develop and promote productive partnership working arrangements with trade unions, actively involving them in both strategic and operational discussions.

* Significant experience of working in HR at a senior level.

* Experience of operating a HR Business Partner and multi-disciplinary team approach within a complex organisation

* Experience of analysis of complex information facts and situations to determine the appropriate course of action

* Experience of working in a commercial environment

* Experience of working as a Head of HR leading a team of HR professionals

* Ability to think creatively and influence senior stakeholders (AOs, Chairs and Executive teams)

* Experience of working in a customer focused environment and managing Service Level Agreements and designing KPIs
