£40,000 - £50,000 per annum

QA Test Engineer - Mobile Apps required by a successful SaaS technology company based in Southampton. This is an exciting time for the company as they look to rebuild their product architecture and delivery strategy adopting latest release open source technology and developing a new suite of mobile applications (React Native /iOS).

This is a great time to join the business as they kick start a schedule of greenfield projects following modern design and development principles. You will be a key part of this.

We are looking for a QA Test Engineer - Mobile Apps with expertise in test automation and mobile application testing. You will focus on implementing testing from manual to automation on the bespoke web and eventually mobile software products. You will create and maintain an automated testing environment, including technical documentation. This is a great opportunity to really make an impact and take ownership of the full testing lifecycle. You will have commercial experience of automated and manual testing and have experience of using the full testing suite. The QA Test Engineer - Mobile Apps will have experience of testing mobile applications and knowledge of Selenium, Web Driver, Java and ideally AWS.

The successful QA Test Engineer - Mobile Apps will be responsible for;

* Implementing automated and mobile testing throughout the company
* Eventually a focus on mobile testing
* Identity, fix and improve software before deployment
* Create technical documentation for end users
* Manual testing

Key Experience

* Strong automated testing / test automation experience
* Strong Mobile testing experience
* Manual testing experience
* Knowledge of using an automated testing suite
* Experience of using Selenium web driver
* Java
* Junit
* AWS
* REST API's

These skills would be advantageous but not a prerequisite;

* Good exposure of different Testing Methodologies
* Analytic approach to testing
* Computer Science degree or equivalent
* Agile experience

Price / Salary: £40000 - £50000/annum
