Located in North Wales, near Wrexham, we are currently working alongside a growing and highly regarded waste management company who due to continued growth are looking to appoint a recycling controller.

The primary function of this role has been briefly outlined below:

The Recycling Controller will be required to setup and maintain an efficient recycling service to clients through effective landbank management. You will liaise with farmers and arrange for deliveries to be carried out. This work involves talking to Farmers and matching crop fertiliser requirements to sludge delivery schedules.

Primary accountability's:

* Ensure suitable land is available for continuous recycling activities at minimal distance from various client sites.
* Maintain an immediate forward recycling plan for a minimum of 6 weeks normal production from each site.
* Identify, sample and assess new land to expand landbanks.
* Prepare and submit recycling request paperwork to the Environmental Department and the customer.
* Advise farmers on use of sludge as an organic fertiliser.
* Implement the sale of sludge as alternatives to chemical fertiliser.
* Maintain operational folders on a weekly basis and ensure information is up to date.
* Ensure delivery paperwork and maps are in place for drivers/ Site Operators.
* Carry out or arrange pre-work and post-work assessments for individual sites.
* Ensure compliance with Environmental Permit, Environmental Codes of Practice and applicable legislation by carrying out regular site inspections.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations by carrying out regular site inspections.
* Audit deliveries to ensure environmental compliance.
* Carry out any other duties as directed from time to time, for which the postholder has either been trained or deemed competent.
