A fantastic opportunity is immediately available Graduate Structural Engineer to become an important part of a highly respected, highly specialised engineering consultancy based in Plymouth. Our client are actively looking to welcoming a new graduate to the team to develop their skillset in an encouraging and supportive environment, whilst having the opportunity to play an important part in the delivery of a range of building structures projects from inception to completion. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to £22,000 for this role, in addition to offering full support to the completion of Chartership.

In order to be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineering role you will:

* Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Be an ambitious individual who is keen to progress to Chartership
* Possess a good understanding of AutoCAD
* Possess a good understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes

Key responsibilities of this Graduate Structural Engineering role include:

* Play an important part in the delivery of a range of building structures projects from inception to completion
* Attend site projects and design meetings as required
* Be fully supported towards the completion of Chartership
* Write reports, carry out calculations and conduct surveys as required
* Work directly alongside a number of experienced and Chartered engineers
* Liaise closely with valued clients
