Events and Sales Consultant
Croydon

£20,000 - £25,000 per annum

Our client specialises in Asian Weddings and is looking for someone to work as an Events and Sales and Events Consultant.

They are ideally looking for a candidate who speaks Hindi or Punjabi, who is ambitious and hardworking and is looking for an opportunity to be part of a team in which they can grow and progress in a consultative sales management role.

Joining their team of 5, you can look forward to:
Building relationships with key decision makers from leading and innovative companies via phone, email and face to face.
Responsibility for your own event campaigns.
Opportunity to lead source and build new accounts as well as manage established accounts.
On Site Event Management (international travel may be required).

Skills/Experience Required:
Excellent communication skills you must be able to contact potential delegates via phone, handle objections and close sales successfully.
Ambition and drive, with the ability to work under pressure and towards targets/deadlines.
Enthusiasm and positivity in approach to the role with a desire to progress in the company.
Organisational and administrative competence essential when maintaining and updating your client database and sales pipelines.
A responsible and consistent approach to work, with the ability to work well as a part of a team and autonomously to individual targets.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 years experience of working in a sale based role including IT Qualification such as Ms Excel & Ms Word etc. You will be able to demonstrate confidence and an autonomous approach to your work as well as an ability to meet and exceed targets. Good organisational skills and attention to detail are desirable. You should also have great writing skills and a consultative manner that enables you to build long term business relationships with your clients.
