Enthusiastic Team Leader to join an award winning LGBT late night venue in Soho.

My client is one of the biggest LGBT venues in London holding a capacity of 450 and only a short walk from Leicester Square. Spread over 2 floors with very distinct spaces, my client offers a trendy and chic environment perfect for all occasions.

Priding themselves on being one of the star players in the LGBTQ community they open the doors to all.

As the business has grown and the staff numbers increased, a need has arisen for a Team Leader to support and direct the existing Management Team and Bar Staff.

The role of Team Leader will be a diverse and challenging position and will require the best professional management skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience of and be prepared to work late nights and weekends, as a 'night manager' to ensure the safe smooth running of the venue and the delivery of exceptional service by all management & staff to the customers.

The key duties of the candidate are;

Management Support / Supervision

Venue Productivity

Adhering to set Budgets

Achieving Customer Service Targets

The ideal candidate will;

Manage current and future staff by ensuring excellent Attendance, Attitude, Punctuality and Hygiene are maintained.

Continue our ethos of 'leaders and not bosses' and implement the businesses' staff policies.

Be involved in the recruitment process by procuring candidates for interview.

Arrange and assist with the training of staff.

Organise and complete regular one-to-one appraisals with the staff.

Have excellent cash handling and management skills and ensure that all the transactions are properly accounted and recorded.

Have excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to work independently.

Possess strong IT skills and a good sense of Time Management.

Have excellent Communication Skills.

Other Duties will include:

Rota Management

Maintain Stock Levels within the venue

Managing a continuous Waste Reduction Programme within the venue

*

Working with P+L reports

*

Training and Process Management initiatives

*

Expectation of working late nights
