Occupational Therapist Assistant - Waltham Forest

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist Assistant - Waltham Forest to join an Adults Social care team. The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Responsibilities include:

* Promote a physically disabled person's quality of life and that of their carers.
* Help people to build confidence and to make the most of their abilities
* Work to find solutions to problems that limit their ability to be independent.
* Help increase safer and easier ways to daily activities i.e. washing, dressing, household tasks and activities.
* Practical assessments of people's ability to carry out normal activities of daily living

Experience Needed

For this Occupational Therapist Assistant - Waltham Forest position you will need the following experience;

* Experience working in an Adults Setting within the UK.

Minimum Requirements:

* Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
