Our client is keen to recruit a Quality Auditor to join their team in Swindon
Your Role
Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, you are a member of the quality department with personal responsibility for ensuring that raw materials, components, subcontract services, manufacturing processes and finished products conform to specification.
Your Goal
To perform sample product audits throughout the assembly process to ensure conformance to specification and by eliminating defective raw materials, components, subcontract services and manufacturing processes by resolving non-conformities in the product supply chain from purchase requisition to customer receipt.
Your Objectives
To support Production in the manufacturing of products to ensure that they meet specification and customer requirements, this includes existing and new production.
This will include management and responsibility of the NCP process to ensure results are analysed and corrective actions implemented.
To undertake where necessary the inspection of selected purchased raw materials, components and subcontract services using mechanical and CMM measurement techniques. Communicate, control and eliminate non-conformities that you identify by establishing root causes and managing the implementation of corrective actions within the supply chain.
Undertake and become proficient in the random inspection of sub-assemblies and finished goods produced via the companys manufacturing processes. Where required develop selected organisations within the supply chain to assure their processes and output for new materials, components and services to be right first time.
Establish yourself as an active contributor to the New Product Implementation and Engineering Change processes to ensure that product specifications and build instructions for future products and processes are clearly defined and understood by all stakeholders engaged in the manufacturing supply chain.

Your Skills & Knowledge
Experience of quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment.
Experience of managing improvement activities with UK based and international suppliers.
Organised and confident with excellent communication skills.
Experience with electrical/electronic products.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Gain experience of 5S within a lean manufacturing environment.
Ability to interface directly with customers.
Gain skills in operating/programming a CMM
Price / Salary: £23000 - £25000/annum
