Position: Machine Operator
Pay Rate: £8.50 per hour
Location: Tetbury
Hours: 40 hrs per week; Mo-Thu 830am till 5pm
Duration: Temporary with the possibility of going permanent for the right candidate

Due to expanding business needs we are seeking Machine Operator/Production Operator to work for our client based in Tetbury. Machine Operator is responsible for operation and maintenance of press and related equipment to produce various products. Four night shifts per week. Machine Operator/Production Operator £8.00 and although temporary the role could become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
* to load, operate, and unload press to produce plastic products consistent with product specifications, while maintaining production and quality standards and controlling waste,
* to trim and cut materials using CNC machines and Vacuum-Forming machines,
* to carry out accurately and precisely detailed instructions from job orders,
* to monitor product for quality during job runs, check precision of detail against specifications, take action to correct any problems,
* to meet standards for output and waste,
* to pack finished products into cartons, label and stack on pallets.

The Person:
* relevant manufacturing experience,
* Good communication skills,
* Good understanding of health and safety,
* Attention to fine detail,
* ability to work night shift,
* Due to the location, own transport is essential.
