Quantity Surveyor

House Builder - New Build - £5m - £60m - Quantity Surveyor

A current award winning regional developer are looking for Quantity Surveyor to join their head offices in Surrey. This organisation delivers exceptional finishing on new homes across the South Thames.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining a team where care and attention is everything. Their housing portfolio, ranges from starter homes through to 6-bedroom luxury family homes.

This is a massive opportunity for an Intermediate Surveyor who has either run their own projects or is in the transition of running their own projects to come into the company and grow with an extremely well established developer.

Role: Quantity Surveyor

Duties:

* Build and maintain working relationships with supply chain and clients
* Ensure subcontract orders match the main contract requirements
* Place supply chain orders in accordance with the procurement schedule
* Price and agree all project variations
* Value, certify and issue subcontractors
* Manage and minimise non recoverable costs on projects
* Promote resolution of subcontract final accounts
* Assist in the preparation of CVC reports
* Submit external valuations, making sure they meet the conditions of the main contract
* Full responsibility for the projects cash position

Salary: £40,000-£55,000

Essential:

* Developer experience
* Project experience ideal
* HNC or Degree ideal
* Valid Driving Licence
* Ideas man
* Minimum 4 years' solid experience
