Harvey Water Softeners is growing! We are now looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our growing business. If you are looking for a rewarding role working with the UK's number one then we want you to apply today!

You will be supporting the Production Manager in the day-to-day running of the Production Department, ensuring timely and efficient use of resources and staffing to achieve department KPIs.

The Production Supervisor will work under the supervision and direction of the Production Manager but the position will involve working closely with other departments.

Duties to Include:

*To set and manage the department workload in line with agreed KPIs.
*To manage the health & safety requirements within the production department and to act as a point of contact for the Health & Safety Committee.
*Delegating manufacturing tasks to meet production deadlines
*Working with the Process Engineer to maintain quality in production by ensuring production processes are accurate, robust and efficient.
*Evaluate new production equipment.
*Under the direction of the Production Manager, to assist with the introduction of systems and techniques to improve quality and production output.
*To maintain the equipment and machinery in the production department, ensuring Service History is recorded and kept up to date.

Skills/ Experience Required:

*Previous supervisory experience
*Ability to multi-task
*Excellent leadership skills
*Injection Moulding Experience- Desirable
*Setting Experience- Desirable
*Good IT skills
*Excellent communication skills- written and spoken

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 7:45 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (40 hours per week).
