Senior Carer (Care Home) 38.5 hours - £8.50/hr Brighouse Permanent Nights ONLY

You will be joining a fantastic group of care homes, whose person-centred approach to care relies on the dedication and passion of our employees, who we expect to go the extra mile to improve the home experience and generate a relaxed and informal community within our homes.

The care home is a large, modern residential care home, and you will be tasked with assisting with the residents care plan, supervising the care team, delivering the highest standards of personalised care to residents. Ensure that at all times residents are treated with respect and dignity, and that individuals rights to privacy, dignity, independence and choice are met.

The roles we currently have are -
Nights 38.5 hours 3 on, 3 off (8pm-8am)

Key Responsibilities

To provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans carefully and ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive. To act as a key worker for a named group of residents, ensuring that these responsibilities are carried out in full (as defined in the training manual).
To participate in the formulation and maintenance of individual care plans for each resident and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records for both.
To supervise and support the care team, ensuring that the Care Home values of trust, respect and care are always maintained and that each team member treats residents in the way that they would expect to be treated themselves.

Person specification
Experience of working in a caring environment
NVQ3 in Direct Care (Ideally or equivalent)
Supervisory/leadership skills
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required.

38.5 Hours a week (Overtime available)
£8.50 for level 3
Shift pattern is 3 on, 3 off (8pm-8am for nights)
Permanent Contract
