Sales & Account Manager

Due to continued growth, a Tier 1 Automotive supplier is looking to recruit an experienced Sales & Account Manager to join their established team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking business which promotes training & development and further career progression.

Purpose of Role:

To expand the existing customer base & also develop new business relationships.

Responsible for 2 Midlands based plants

Your territory will cover both UK & Europe.

There is an annual management trip to America, which you will be expected to attend.

You will split your time between the 2 plants and customer visits - however there is flexibility to work from home as well.

The Successful Candidate will have:

* Proven experience in a Sales/Business Development/Account Manager role in a manufacturing / production environment

(Growing both existing accounts and bringing in new business)

* Experience in an Automotive supply environment is advantageous, however, all industry experience will be considered

* Flexible to travel & on occasion stay away from home to fulfil requirement of role

* IT Literate - Microsoft Office

Responsibilities Overview:

* Expand the company sales in line with the budgeted requirements
* Develop new business relationships
* Maintain profitable margins for all new projects & current business
* Create a monthly sales report & generate quarterly sales forecasts
* To be responsible for day to day management of the customer support teams
* To coach and develop the team
* Manage internal relations
* Enforce company policy regarding staff absence, lateness and enforce break guidelines
* To discipline reporting members of staff as required by the company requirements
* Maintain all 5S standards & requirements
