We are currently representing a role as a Production Manager for a proactive global company that service the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities will include:
* Assist and Co-ordinate in the build and test of electro-mechanical assemblies with overall responsibility for assembly and test technicians
* Ensure all procedures are followed and test results are recorded and are within the specifications.
* Maintain and develop QA, test procedures and assembly instructions to meet ISO9000 requirements.
* Co-ordinate and take part in the fault finding and failure analysis of electronic assemblies to component level.
* Manage and maintain mechanical and electronic assembly bills of materials for product life cycles. Assisting purchasing in Identifying and selecting replacements for obsolete parts.
* Work with sales and operations to manage production schedules and ensure one-time delivery.
* Co-ordinate customer returns and assist in fault finding and repair. Generating internal and customer focused failure reports.
* Co-ordinate with engineering to maintain drawings and design files
* Introduction of new products into manufacturing including developing test procedures and assembly instructions.

To be successful in this role, the candidate would preferably:
* 3 years or more experience of an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
* Familiar with ISO900 requirements
* Fault finding of electronic assemblies to component level
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
* HND or equivalent in electrical and electronic engineering
