Fantastic Opportunity

Grounds Maintenance Operatives required in Coalville (covering the East midlands) - £8.60 P/H Temporary to Perm

Must have previous experience.

Trailer Licence preferable

You will have a great opportunity for temporary to permanent with a local company specialising in grounds maintenance and landscaping services, this could be a great opportunity for a potential permanent job for the right candidate. This organisation are a growing organisation based in Leicester predominantly however with contracts throughout the East Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the Grounds Maintenance sector right through the winter months and in to the next season, leading to perm position for the right person

Job Role

In this role you will be providing a full range of highly professional services from grass mowing, strimming, litter collection, leaf clearance and hedge and shrub pruning and all general grounds maintenance duties.

You will work in a customer facing role which will entail dealing with tenants of housing stock while delivering the grounds maintenance service. You may be required to train and deliver works such as tree work and fencing offering you a fantastic opportunity for personal development.

Person

You will have previous experience in grounds maintenance - you will have a driving licence and be able to pull a trailer, you will collect a company vehicle each day for getting to and from sites. You will preferably have NVQ in Amenity Horticulture but this is not essential. You must have previous experience of using pedestrian and ride-on mower experience. You will also have experience of using hedge trimmers, blowers and strimmers.

You must be hard working and willing to work as part of a team
