We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading company within the Construction industry.

Ensuring the accurate and timely management, planning and delivery of orders to their customers' sites is the key to this Transport Planner role.

Your main duties will include:
Building relationships with customers and hauliers
Working closely with the Sales Team, to drive the highest standards of customer service
Generating repeat business
Maximising cost-efficiencies through effective haulage routing
Enhancing the reputation of their delivery function.

You will have the below skills/experience:

Previous experience in a transport planning role, ideally in the construction sector
Be customer focused and able to build customer relationships both face-to-face and over the phone, Confidence to deal with people at all levels both internally and externally.
Excellent all-round communication skills
A good level of IT-literacy, especially on MS Office and including spreadsheets
A real grasp of logistics and routing
