Cognos Analytics Consultant (Cognos BI)

£45,000 pa dependent on experience + pension scheme + private healthcare

Based from home anywhere in the UK.

With UK wide on client site work.

About the role

We've been creating cutting edge solutions for nearly 10 years, but we're still growing and always looking to enhance our team. And that's where you come in. Joining us as Cognos Analytics Developer, you'll support and diagnose on existing Cognos BI installations, as well as complete and test remedial work, too. Building great customer relationships with your clients, you'll report work progress against plans. And we'd also like you to produce end-user report development for every stage of the process - from requirement gathering to design, build, test, deploy and documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to join our fast growing business and unlock the capability of our client's data.

About you

You'll have solid experience in Cognos BI tools, including some of the following: IMB Cognos 8/10/11 suite, IBM Cognos Report Studio, IBM Cognos Framework Manager, IBM Cognos Analysis Studio, IBM Cognos Metric Manager, IBM Conos Query Studio, Infosphere Datastage. Related database skills, especially SQL, would be an advantage, while knowledge of ETL and data integration would be helpful too. With exceptional communication skills and an excellent understanding of the commercial objectives of your work, you're approachable, engaging and inspirational. And, like everyone here, you take the time to do things properly, making a difference to our business every day. It's essential that you have a full, valid driving licence and are willing to travel to different customer sites across the UK.
