Working for a large Engineering design consultancy (private sector) based in Chorley, Lancashire you will work on Highways Maintenance orientated workload. They require a Senior Bridge Engineer (minimum of 2-4 years experience) to join their established bridges design team. You will become a member of a large team, delivering bridge design services throughout all stages of major project development and in all areas of highway structures design. Bridge input in to general improvements of Highways Bridges.
This is a technical role and you must be hands on and be able to produce Bridge calculations however the role will mainly involve Bridge Assessments.

Experience of structural design in accordance with Eurocode and British standards is desirable.
Must have experience of Bridge design, assessment, optioneering, feasibility, analysis and inspection.

Experience of design of reinforced concrete, composite concrete and steel elements is required.
Experience of working on highway structures is desirable.

Long term contract opportunity with excellent continuity.

Essential Experience :

Degree in Civil Engineering
MISTRUCTE or MICE (Desirable)
