ERP Change Manager

Contract: Full time, 6 months Contract
About the role
A new and exciting opportunity has recently arisen for an experienced Change Manager to play a key role on a major Transformation programme, centred around the implementation of Oracle Fusion across our global business. This is a fantastic chance for someone to focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and transitioning our IT support to a Managed Service Provider. The programme has just entered user acceptance testing
You will play a key role ensuring the successful transition and adoption, and minimising resistance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone aiming to make the difference between getting change over the line and delivering real, lasting change and sustainable business benefits.
About Business Transformation at Abcam
Business Transformation is made up of a group of talented change managers, trainers and communications specialists. The team plays a critical role in helping the organisation deliver results more effectively by supporting key initiatives (such as a global overhaul of our systems and processes; an upcoming headquarter move, and many more) and applying change management best practices to help individuals succeed through change.
Roles & responsibilities:
Working with stakeholders to map out and deliver exactly what is needed to land change successfully (including communications, coaching and training)
Reporting progress against plan weekly and managing risks and issues
Developing business readiness plans with business teams to ensure they understand and are prepared to deliver against those plans
Working alongside the Programme Communications lead to develop know how material to be cascaded within the business
Supporting the development of a global change network to strengthen engagement across Abcam businesses
Arranging and facilitating workshops
Integrating change management activities into the programme plan
About you
The ideal candidate will have extensive Change Management experience gained during complex ERP projects, ideally within a manufacturing and supply chain function. You should have a solid understanding of how people go through a change process and a demonstrable track record of executing Change Management strategies including conducting change assessments, assessing business readiness, developing communication plans, producing training needs analysis, defining and measuring success metrics and monitoring change progress.
You should be a team player, able to take responsibility and manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail. We require a strong communicator with a flexible and adaptable approach.
