Consultant Psychiatrist - Learning Disability / Autism
Location - County Durham

Job

You will undertake work that is meaningful to our service users and socially important within the local community - They will provide you with the opportunity to support vulnerable adults - some of which may present with challenging behaviour - achieve their goals.

The main focus of the role will be to support the provision of safe, sound and supportive care to the people who use our service. You will have working relationships with the nursing and multidisciplinary teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, including service users' families and loved ones.

As a specialist within intellectual disability, you will provide leadership to Service Managers and the Multi-disciplinary teams within your region.

The successful candidate will be based in the Northeast region and provide service to Hospitals and Care Homes within the region.
