Electrical Fitter/ Electrician

Due to expansion my client is looking to increase their team by recruiting a number of electrical fitters.

Role Summary
Perform all duties required as Fitter or Electrician or Fitter/Electrician in accordance with Team Leader or Supervisory instructions.
Maintaining tooling and equipment.
Managing and fitting materials issued to you using best practice and company guidelines.
Duties
Carry out tasks allocated to you in accordance with laid down VMI`s and other specified documentation ensuring prompt and safe delivery of vehicles to the customer.
Ensure all documentation/paperwork issued relating to the work being carried out is correct in the first instance and completed correctly and fully.
Work in accordance with the material handling processes in respect of defective components ensuring any removed material, component is labelled correctly.
Must have diagnostic/fault finding skills.
MUST be familiar with BR class 08/20/37/47 LOCOMOTIVES

Competences

- Competent in Railway Vehicle Maintenance.
- PTS (Preferred).
- First aid trained (Preferred).
- Recognised craft apprenticeship (Preferred)

Price / Salary: £28000 - £32000/annum
