Based on the outskirts of Boston, just off the A52 between Boston and Skegness, lie a number of food processing plants. This one processes a huge variety of fresh Lincolnshire Produce during the season and some imported veg out of season. The products vary from Kale to Calabrese and Spring Green to Sweetcorn with a whole lot more in between. They supply a variety of the major retailers, wholesale and food service.

This position is for a permanent Account Assistant with the ambition to do more. Joining the Accounts Team you will be working with the Accountant and your job role with grow with your capabilities and career.

There are two main parts to your position, working the Sales Ledger:

· Managing Sales receipts and debits

· Remittance posting to the Sales Ledger

· Credit Control

· Working with the Sales Managers

And

Assisting the company Accountant with:

· Monthly Bank Reconciliation

· VAT processing

· Monthly Management Accounts

· Balance sheet & fixed maintenance

· Assisting with the Audit preparation

· Assisting with the weekly BACs Payment runs

With experience in a similar position previously, you will be part qualified AAT (or similar) with a good working knowledge of Excel.
