Childrens Services Report Writer

I have an urgent vacancy for a report writer in Tower Hamlets, East London. This is a 3 month+ contract supporting the Ofsted improvement work

About the role:

We are looking for someone to come in for initially 3 months to help improve and develop children's social care reporting. This is a technical resource to help streamline processes and make the generating of reports more automatic and efficient.

Working Hours: Full Time
Pay rate: Negotiable (Please advise of a reasonable expected pay rate)
Start Date: ASAP

Key responsibilities include:
* Organising and managing programme board including planning, reporting and risk and issues management.
* Developing underpinning business cases and benefits management systems - as the programme expects to deliver better outcomes, increased customer satisfaction and associated savings.
* Taking lead responsibility for the project management associated with the first two above noted deliverables.
* Working closely with a range of officers with leading responsibilities for delivery
About you:
* You will have an understanding of Childrens social care records from an analyst or analytics / reporting perspective
* You will have experience of working with children's social care data using CareFirst case management system combined with SQL, business objects and SSRS reporting experience
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical people.
