General Foreman

General / Groundworks Foreman Residential Groundworks Suffolk / Essex

A respected and rapidly expanding Groundworks and Civil Engineering contractor are looking to recruit an experienced Groundworks Foreman to work on residential projects throughout Suffolk and Essex, starting on a project in Stowmarket.
As the General Foreman you will be responsible of the effective day to day management of the site operations in accordance with the programme of works. You will be responsible for the procurement of materials and plant, ensuring they arrive on site at the correct times. You will also be responsible for all the on-site health and safety including RAMS, HAVS sheets, PURE sheets and tool box talks.

You should have previous experience working as a General / Groundworks Foreman on residential projects as well as other civil engineering projects. You will need excellent communication skills and knowledge of current health and safety legislation. In addition you should hold a current CSCS Card and either a SMSTS or SSSTS certificate.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Foreman to prove themselves with a forward thinking and expanding company and they will look to put you on a clear progression path towards senior management and Contracts Manager level.

Salary: £20 £23 per hour
