HEAD OF PR / HEAD OF PUBLIC RELATIONS - MARKETING COMPANY - STOKE ON TRENT £35000 - £40000 BASIC SALARY + BENEFITS

My client, based in Stoke-On-Trent, is recruiting for a Head of PR / Public Relations to join their enthusiastic and motivated team. The company has grown year on year and work with various businesses to provide creative strategy, digital, social media and PR support.

The role provides a competitive salary as well as additional benefits.

As Head of PR you will be responsible for PR Strategy, campaign activation, team development and much, much, more. You will demonstrate superb campaign and senior client management skills, strong creativity and high-level copy-writing ability. You will also ideally have experience and an understanding of SEO and keywords.

You will plan and deliver PR Campaigns, manage and mentor a fantastic team and ensure a top-class service is provided at all times. Dealing with excellent brands, this is a dynamic role for an experienced Head of PR or an Account Director looking for a new challenge.

Working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Responsibilities include:

* Main point of contact for clients
* Attend meetings and conference calls providing full follow up reports
* Manage, motivate and nurture the team
* Oversee and manage budgets and financial status
* Conduct business pitches
* Develop and execute effective campaigns
* Conduct client reviews
* Manage all content produced by the team
* Proactive media relations

Skills and Experience:

* Minimum 7 years PR experience, ideally within an agency
* Have high quality portfolio that provides evidence of successes and experience
* Proven media relations skills and contacts
* Experience in delivering campaigns from start to finish
* Fluency in digital/social media platforms
* Creative
* Experience in pitching and driving new business
