The Role:
Grade 3 Assembler within the Electronics flowline Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. Performance of area housekeeping activities, including the prompt reporting of problems, shortages or equipment breakdowns. Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack. Maintain safe working area and practices, ensuring health & safety of all workshop personnel. Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. Ensure that Flowline equipment are always within calibration and escalate to QA if out of specification for rework or replacement. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Preferably experience in light assembly work Preferably experienced in soldering operations Preferably experienced at Manual Handling Techniques No known allergies to epoxy's or PU's. No known breathing difficulties eg asthma NVQ level 2 Experience of working on intermediate moving manufacturing processes/Flowline. Experience of working on production specific H&S issues & initiatives. Team working Attention to Detail
