Job Role: Compex Electrician / Inspector

Location: Maidstone

Salary: £13-16 per hour

Highfield Professional Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a mechanical and electrical instillation and design company who sit within the water sector.

The Role

* Taking responsibility for the health & safety of self and all under your control
* Minimising impact on & protection of the environment
* Safe cost effective delivery of electrical installations in line with company SHEQ policies
* Managing the completion of site installation work ensuring work is on schedule and within budget, including:
* Planning the work efficiently in order to meet agreed deadlines
* Ordering materials and ensuring that the correct materials are on site when required
* Interpretation of site drawings and project information
* Carrying out Installation & Inspection works on site
* Assisting with testing and commissioning of installations
* Liaising with other contractors
* Monitor and inspect the quality of work on site to ensure work is meets the standards
* Undertaking and recording statutory inspections of plant and equipment
* Report all accidents, incidents and near misses
* Respect the environment, implement control measures where applicable to protect the environment
* Implement measures to prevent waste production
* Ensure all waste is handled in line with legislation
* To maintain confidentiality of information and ensure that information received is not disclosed, unless appropriate, to other Bridges personnel or external bodies

The Candidate

* CCNSG Safety Passport
* Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification
* Emergency first aid or First Aider
* C&G Test & Inspection
* Water Industry/Industrial Background
* Thames Water Passport advantageous
* Full driving licence and access to own vehicle required
* Comp'Ex 1-4 (for Comp'Ex role only)

Price / Salary: £13.00 - £16.00/hour
