We are urgently seeking an assembler for our client based in Chichester for a temporary to permanent role with an immediate start.

Our client has been in business for almost 70 years and is run by the third generation of the same family. Even in difficult economic times they have continued to be a global leader, and invested in the business. There are some exciting developments coming for 2018 and they are looking for staff to grow with the expansion of the business and who are looking for the kind of security this employer can offer.

The position is to build bespoke hose assemblies for various clients throughout the UK and overseas to a high quality to meet UK and overseas quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills

* Ability to be able to work to tight deadlines and recognise that the company must achieve on time despatch dates
* An excellent eye for detail
* A high level of dexterity
* Ability to work with hand tools as well as bespoke machinery
* Previous experience of Engineering Assembly
* Ability to read technical drawings

You will be

* Able to adapt your current skill sets to our build methods
* You will have a good level of English reading and writing
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Be a team player
* Flexibility with hours of work to 'get the job done'

In return the company will offer

* A starting hourly rate of £8.50 per hour
* A review on salary after a successful three-month probationary period
* Training, guidance and knowledge on more than one product type to turn you into a skilled fabricator
* Standard 40 hour week, 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 12 noon Fridays.
* Overtime available during peak periods
* 23 days annual leave
* BUPA membership after probationary period can be offered
